Review Eligibility. We can't wait for you to join us!

To be eligible to apply for membership, an organization must:

 

  • Be a registered 501(c)3 in existence at least 1 year

 

  • Provide recreation and/or wellness services to military, veterans and their families

 

  • Be in good standing with the IRS with up to date filings

 

  • Be able to justify their program design for intended long-term benefits

 

  • Provide consistent military-focused programs over time

All members are subject to an annual membership fee of $125.​

Application Process

  1. Applications are submitted to the Membership Committee weekly

  2. Applicant information is reviewed (this includes provided information as well as 990s, annual reports, and outreach and impact reviews)

  3. Interviews/Questions

  4. Final review

  5. Decisions are confirmed via email

  6. Approved organizations submit the annual fee ($125) to finalize membership

Applicants should allow up to 45 days for the process to be completed and a final decision to be made.
