Twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, we are a nationwide network for military survivors ready to embrace and connect all who grieve the death of a military loved one with resources, services, and programs - regardless of the manner of the death, the duty status at the time of death, the survivor's relationship to the deceased, or the survivor's phase in their grief journey. TAPS provides award-winning programs and services based on best practices of peer-based emotional support in alignment with decades of research on military grief, bereavement, and trauma-informed care.
At TAPS, we create a safe space for survivors to connect, from the comfort of their home or at a community, regional, or national event. We also remember the life and celebrate the legacy of our military loved ones. We provide educational opportunities for all on research-informed best practices in bereavement care, and build relationships with military leadership, grief professionals, and professionally trained peer professionals to provide comprehensive care to all.
